Mr. Erkut Alataş shares the experience of his 13-year-old daughter's autism journey and their path to treatment that extended from Turkey to Azerbaijan.
After his daughter was diagnosed with atypical or mild autism in Istanbul, the family decided to re-evaluate the diagnostic process due to inconsistencies among different expert opinions. Mr. Erkut and his family continued their research to find a more comprehensive approach and the right roadmap for their child.
During this time, the family discovered the Bioloji Təbabət Klinikası (Biological Medicine Clinic) through social media and contacted Specialist Pediatrician Dr. Lale Nesirova. Following preliminary evaluations, requested tests, and online consultations, they were advised that their daughter’s condition required a more detailed examination.
With the trust they gained and the right guidance, the family took a step into the treatment process in Azerbaijan, starting with an integrative medicine approach. Mr. Erkut shares the significant changes he has observed in his daughter since the process began in November.
He notes that during the treatment, his daughter is able to focus her attention better, her social communication skills have developed, and she has begun to interact more with her surroundings.
Mr. Erkut’s story demonstrates how crucial an accurate evaluation, a comprehensive approach, and family support are in the developmental process.
In this journey from Turkey to Azerbaijan, the family emphasizes that finding the right support for their child has been an incredibly valuable step for them.
