What is integrative oncology?
Integrative oncology, or integrative medicine, is the use of complementary therapies along with conventional (standard) medicine. Complementary therapies work together with conventional treatment methods (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation) to treat the whole patient with integrative method such as (high dose vitamin c, hypertermia and mistletoe therapy).
Integrative therapies can help with your treatment goals, side effects, and distress. Integrative therapies can help you stick to your treatment plan, which may lead to better outcomes.
What is hyperthermia?
Treatment with hyperthermia is based on targeted heating of the body or individual parts of the body. The resulting "heat stress" makes the cancer cells more sensitive to the body's own degradation processes, accompanying radiation treatment or chemotherapy. However, the aim of the various hyperthermia procedures is not to kill the cancer cells directly through the heat.
High-dose Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant administered intravenously (IV infusion) and used to support the immune system, help manage chronic fatigue, infections, and as an adjunctive therapy in certain types of cancer. This treatment delivers Vitamin C directly into the bloodstream at high concentrations, supporting cellular regeneration and repair.
Key features of high-dose Vitamin C therapy:
Method of Administration:
It is typically administered via intravenous (IV) infusion under medical supervision.
Purpose:
Provides a strong antioxidant effect, supports the immune system, and aids in the body’s detoxification processes.
Areas of Use:
Used in infectious diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome, allergies, and as a supportive therapy in oncology.
Safety:
High doses should only be administered by qualified healthcare professionals under appropriate medical supervision.
